  Excellent food as well as service! We are originally from China and have tried a few similar restaurants providing Asian food around here for years, Noodle 88 is really a good one, if not the best, deserves a 5-star. You can ask for genuine Chinese food menu loaded in an iPad. The chef must be a genius, the appetizer 熏鱼 "smoked fish" tastes exactly what I had in Shanghai, though the price is reasonable, comparing to other local competitor. Their beef noodle is also terrific, worth every penny. Owner Carol explained me where/how they purchased the foodstuff to make sure its freshness. She also mentioned their delivery of food packages to local Sunday Chinese language school as part of charity effort. Go have a try if you are looking around, you won't be disappointed.

  Went there with friends on a Sunday evening. The place was not crowded, and that was nice. The customer service was attentive, yet not in your face constantly. That's nice.
  The menu was kind of small, and while there was some variety, it felt like appetizers and main dishes were repetitive.
  The food was very good. The Shanghai wonton soup had robust wontons floating in a decadently rich chicken broth. The sweet and sour soup was also very lovely, so much so that it upstaged the steamed potstickers that were a bit bland. The spring rolls were crispy and true to the ideal form. The General Tso's chicken was absolutely mouthwatering, and the broccoli with garlic sauce and added shrimp was perfectly spicy and delicious. The shrimp was cooked perfectly.
  So what are my gripes? The restaurant has aspirations that are not supported by either the location or the venue. The pricing for the amount of food you get is off. A very small bowl of noodles accompanies your main dish. A very small plate of lettuce leaves is presented to you as a salad that is part of your main dish. It looked like it was one lettuce leaf cut into strips that was the salad. Yes, the dressing was yummy, but one leaf of lettuce does not a salad make.
  What am I saying? I am saying that the restaurant is overpriced. It is good food, but not great, and definitely not the best you have ever had. I won't be coming back.
